Karl Garrett – Most recently, my work has been exhibited at The Sayle Gallery, Isle of Man and at The Isle of Man Art Society Exhibition at the Villa Marina, Douglas. Additionally, I have held my first private viewing which was well received by all who attended.
I am not influenced by any one artist, but a lover of all art – from Constable to Francis Bacon to Rothko to Rauschenberg, as well as Seurat and Van Gogh and abstract artist, John Hoyland.
Being dyslexic, writing is not my forte so I find painting is a great way to express myself. I love texture and movement and each piece is unique in itself as each one has a different feeling or mood that comes from my inner most thoughts.
You can find more of my work on my own website at www.garrettsgallery.webs.com
